Borge Braarup Frederiksen was born on October 24, 1940 in Copenhagen, Denmark, to Elly Braarup and Soren Christian Frederiksen. He was the younger of two brothers, with his older brother Aage.
Borge grew up in Denmark during and after the Second World War.
In March 1962, Borge emigrated to Canada, arriving at Montreal Airport on March 20, 1962.
Borge had two children, Birgitte and Soren.
Borge passed away on June 2, 1997 in Herlov, Denmark. He was 56 years old.
